A crucial aspect of training as a scientist is developing the ability to effectively communicate the importance and relevance of your research to a general audience, as well as other scientists. As part of the Division of Life Sciences Summer Undergraduate Research Program, our research fellows create a fun, short research video (1-3 minutes) about their research for the general public. They also share their research progress with other scientists at our annual DLS SURF poster session.
