- Career Interest: I aspire to become an orthopedic surgeon with the goal of serving as the team physician for the Seattle Seahawks. Personal experiences with injuries have motivated me to pursue the same surgical procedures to help others. My academic focus on Exercise Science and my deep passion for understanding the intricacies of the human body have propelled me towards a career in medicine.
- Fun Fact: The stairs in the picture are from the stairway to heaven in Hawaii which is now an illegal hike.
- What was your favorite class and why?:
My favorite class at Rutgers was Functional Human Anatomy where we learned anatomy straight from a real human cadaver. I think it was the first class where I was genuinely interested each time I came to class. I learned so much for my class and it reinforced my interests in medicine.
- What other Rutgers activities and extracurricular activities do you participate in?:
I currently work at RWJ as a clinical care technician in the oncology department, a research assistant completing my honors thesis in AMP Lab. I am one of the co-president of the American Medical Students Association (AMSA), a SASHP peer mentor, and an ambassador for the Department of Kinesiology.
