• Advanced laboratory methods in Neurobiology. Molecular biological, biochemical and cell biological techniques will be used to study the structure and function of nerve cells. The course consists of three projects that focus on gene transfer into neuronal cell lines, biochemical analysis of neuronal proteins and localization of proteins in nerve cells. This laboratory course mimics research laboratory environment and encourages students to design their own experiments to solve scientific problems.
